The way I see it, I have trouble packing because of my profound sense of democracy. I love ALL my clothes, accessories, toiletries, bags equally. So I feel guilty when I pick this sweater instead of that one. I am so busy apologizing to all my belongings who don't make it onto the bed, on-deck to be squeezed into a suitcase, that I am always pack-fussing till the last minute...
I travel often my best friend lives in PA , my other best friend lives in Nj. I have clothes allready both places, both women have places for guests although I like sleeping with them , we girls like to feel close. I fly or drive about half and half.
I carry new leggings in 2 colors , a black skirt and pantyhose, wear running shoes and carry pointed toe flats and a pair of heels. My purse has meds and brush and lipstick and collagen cream. I always take several blouses button down and feminine and I have a beautiful leather jacket I wear and my sunglasses. I may have an extra pair of long dangle earrings and whatever bracelets I wear are good for my trip..
In the car or plane I carry water and snacks. But I fly a friends cessna twin, never commercial. So I toss my small bag and purse in, fuel , preflight and I am gone in 30 minutes. Pick carefull and you dont need much.
