About Time, or Cereal Cafe
The gist: This Monday, mega-brand Kellogg's celebrated American independence with the opening of their first ever permanent cafe — a Manhattan restaurant dedicated to cereal. With dine in and takeout available, the menu ranges from $6-8 and features a wide bevy of milk- and ice cream-based dishes. Journee's Anthony Rudolf and Sandra di Capua teamed up with cereal impresario in her own right, Christina Tosi (Milk Bar) to collaborate on the all-day breakfast menu. Options include the Pistachio Lemon, featuring Frosted Flakes, lemon zest and thyme and sundaes like the Life in Color: Fruit Loops, lime zest, marshmallow, passion fruit jam
Well, it took until July 2016 for someone to come up with the idea that people want ARTISAN CEREALS not just granola muesli with a few almonds here and there but sea salt pistachio.
