Almost everywhere has something beautiful, or something odd, or a statue of someone...guess we will wait to hear about Scranton.

The terrain around Scranton is dramatic; who knows how much coal remains underneath. Speed traps all the way up I-380, so take your time...

I was born and raised in Mauch Chunk, which became Jim Thorpe when his bones were buried there--in 1954 I think. I was a Brownie and marched in the parade. I hated that they changed the name of my sweet town.

A must see in Scranton is the railway museum. It is mostly outdoors so there should not too great a concern regarding Covid restrictions.-xxx
