Lovely, my grandparents lived 40 or so years in their apartment near Columbia University. It was a grand apartment overlooking the Hudson from the 16th floor. But a smaller pre-war, they had but one neighbor on the floor, in a small apartment that had been a maid's quarters as well as my father's room for a while.
