because I saw her on Instagram thought it would be interesting to see how she was now so many years later long after she divorced her first husband who would walk with me to Seven Eleven he and I were possibly the only two people to order Bubble Gum ice cream
What I cherish is those of us who have the same level of difference. It's not "different-different" but "evolved different" > as it should be for those keenly paying attention to the influences of the details of our stories....
My freshman roommate transferred to a different school and I hadn't seen her or heard anything about her in 25 years until a reunion. I recall nothing at all about our wearing different styles of clothing or having different ways of doing laundry. Au contraire. She told me at the 25th reunion one of her most vivid memories was that if I intended to wear a blouse under a crewneck sweater I would iron only the collar and the cuffs (which she seemed to think demonstrated a moral flaw). I assured her that if I still wore crewneck sweaters I would do the same thing that very day (and still today, another 25+ years later). Unbeknownst to me this roommate had decided to join the military after college and by our 25th reunion was a major. The things we don't notice or expect!
