Congrats and thanks for identifying yet-another brilliant theme: "Inadvertent Insult Humor." Like the time I was told I was "perfect," then suddenly, too old (35...!) and too ethnic (well, okay) to be the On-Air Host for a cable TV station in Phila. They ended up hiring a gal so featureless and bland, no one even knew there was an On-Air Host, when they did surveys. So a year later, after I had enthusiastically moved to NYC, I got a call asking if I would move back to Phila for the job. "Nah," I said, "I'm even older and more ethnic now."
