Of course there are many Steven Cohens, and I once encountered one who wrote, I think on his Facebook page, "I am not the Steven Cohen you are looking for,." They seem to distinguish themselves from the others with a middle initial like "M" or "P". Do you have a middle initial/name?
It definitely wasn't me. My academic career has taken me to Brooklyn College, The New School of Social Research, Tel Aviv University and Clark University. Never Brandeis. I just checked, and can't find any Hillel Schenker connected to Brandeis, or anything else for that matter that is not me. I like to say that I'm at least spiritually related to Ravi Shankar, which means I guess I'm also related to Nora Jones.
For a long time ( my whole life, almost) I thought that there couldn’t be any other person named Maureen Melle, but heritage.com found one in Florida. She is a bit younger than I am. There is someone on FB named Melle Maureen Ecru. She is a lot younger and lives in the Philippines
