How to Make Mayonnaise
Once you do this
you won’t buy mayonnaise.
Even Hellmans.
Four large egg yolks
(farm eggs best)
juice of one good lemon
delicious dijon 1 tablespoon
some Kosher salt
and fresh ground pepper
two tablespoons of water
blend together in a jar
then you’ll be able to
eat it on everything.

The first thing my cousin, who’d been living there for a while, told me when I moved to L.A. from NYC in the late 70s: Hellmans is Best Foods out here.
Im usually slightly disappointed with mayo...will try this!
