Ah! all the questions I am asking myself. How do we grow? How do we reach new people? Where are they? Who are they? In Breathing in Spanish I interview people who've immigrated to this country as I did. I tell their stories, their musings and mine. How do we fit together? How do we fit together, Esther?
You explore this too. Good stories. Nuanced. Specific. The moral relationship we have with others. The exquisite beauty of the mosaic in this land.
I don't really "understand" Notes, for all the hints that are given. I didn't have a stomach for Twitter. All I can think of is writing the best essays I can write and finding people one at a time to tell their stories, from the heart. And so it is. I'm open to friendship and advice.
As to you, Esther, I love your daily poems. They don't always have to be long. You are best when you are an absolute natural.
