thank you so much for these suggestions, Esther. i just booked a flight to Houston to spend a few days before Christmas with my son & his family. both my son and his wife are the offspring of a Jewish father and a non-Jewish mother; i know Alexis (my daughter-in-law) will LOVE the Rachel Berghase book. (p.s.: for clarity: my son and daughter-in-law are the NOT offspring of the same parents, altho the way i wrote it, it sounds like that!)
