What an extraordinary song, which I never heard before. As for listening to music, I always have 88 F.M as background music when I'm at my computer here in Tel Aviv. On the weekends a mixture of songs from the 50s through the 2000s, mainly international, but also Israeli. Right now The Beach Boys., followed by Carol King. But after hearing a presentation about George Gershwin, and watching "Porgy and Bess" for the first time, I revisited Nina Simone's beautiful version of "I Love's You Porgy", and finally understood the context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq5A0YadWKs And followed that with another Gershwin song by one of my favorite Dop Wop groups, The Flamingos from when I graduated from high school, "But Not For Me": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-6cAajBURw

Ahhh...never get tired of Dvorak's American string quartet or Tchaikovsky's Souvenir of Florence and am enjoying them on my bd gift from my kids, a voice-activated speaker with surprising nice sound quality.

Pete Seeger : sailing down my dirty stream.
That voice is incredible!
So beautiful and soulful. Haunting voice.

Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, will I go?
Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired
There's a ghost on the horizon
When I go to bed
How can I fall asleep at night?
How will I rest my head?
Oh I'm scared of the middle place
Between light and nowhere
I don't want to be the one
Left in there, left in there
There's a man on the horizon
Wish that I'd go to bed
If I fall to his feet tonight
Will allow rest my head?
So here's hoping I will not drown
Or paralyze in light
And godsend I don't want to go
To the seal's watershed
Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, will I go?
Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired
