Have you seen Elaine May in Woody Allen's "Crisis in Six Scenes?"
My fantasy is for Mariska Hargitay to play me. Or Ann Bancroft > except she's worse than too old, she's dead. (Sob.) I would also like to imagine: Viola Davis, Scarlett Johansson, Pauley Perrette, Cote de Pablo, Lady Gaga (who according to <https://www.creativecareernow.com/celebrity > is a 33% match to my looks. Especially the meat dress, right?!)
Esther - please come on down to Theatre for the New City and see Hamlet In Harlem. There are TWO, yes 2, over 65 women on stage (I am one of them). I promise a very smart and very funny hour!
Oh I do hope you decide to write your unique take on growing old. My choice of theatrical representation would have been Bea Arthur or Elaine Stritch. But----too late.
Esther you would be a delightful character on film or stage and i hope it happens so please write that book and pitch the hell out of it
Thanks Lucy. Come to Peter’s movie. I’m there xxx
I might be away but if not will try, would be so nice to meet you in person!
