Part of the story of being a writer
is wanting other people to read your words:
doesn’t matter what the words are
(they could be good words they could be
less good words) but then
there is the part where
Other People Read Them
Tell You What They Think
(eg the time when Andrew Motion
British Poet Laureate said
What Makes You Think You’re a Poet
How Would You Answer That Question
I asked and he said We Are Not Equivalent
not believing that of course
We Are All Equivalent and that
when you say it’s a poem, it’s a poem.
❤️ “we are all equivalent”
The belief in scarcity is so sad.
(Only one of us can be a poet, or be loved.)
