Vietnam, or What You See is Who You Are
Dear everyone, my intention was (and is) to write you a travel diary, with poems and even some pictures. But it's not so easy to post, although there's WiFi in Hanoi. It goes in and out. Here's a small poem. I will send more. The pictures will come later. There's so much to see and say. For me, the people always come first. It's very easy to understand why westerners don't leave. Intelligence and grace are everywhere, alongside problems. And this is a country able to forgive.

My family was rich for 24 generations. We became Marxist Leninists. I am a Protestant too. Pastor Smith taught me English when I was a boy. We are a 4000 year old civilization. I have published many books and sat in world gatherings. My home is small. I have one important message and many small facts. Nothing is as valuable as independence. Yours and mine.
