Not long after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe
appeared at Donald Trump’s massive
Madison Square Garden rally
and called Puerto Rico an “island of floating garbage,”
the internet came alive with Google searches for his name.
In fact, as Nate Silver points out, searches for Hinchcliffe
even eclipsed those for Taylor Swift.
Tons of people had no idea who Hinchcliffe was
and were swiftly trying to ascertain the identity
of the guy who had just insulted the island.
I hate that fame is heaped on idiots....
Trump is in Allentown, with its big Latino, Jewish, and Islamic communities. Go Figure. Schools were closed on advice of the police. . Route 33 from Allentown to Scranton has huge Harris billboards, and lots of them.
