Today is as Beautiful as if There was No Covid (Covid poems)
Early sun at 5 today light I've never
seen already astounding and we
will leave this city to go upstate leaving our
5 pm happy hour Quarantini Negronis
our across the hall neighbors who bring
drawings and bottles of wine leaving this eery unpredictable
excitement being somewhere in the middle of big and serious
change a change we can't predict frightening and
wonderful because of demonstrations and awareness
need and desire to understand history as a way for change to happen
and we are going to the country where life is always different
from this one peonies near the house
a yellow porch where it is possible to watch life
from a different angle. We can
drink Negronis on that porch.
