The Day After Christmas
So this is more or less the time when I begin to think about New Year's resolutions, resolutions that are much easier to make than to keep. I am an anti-list type (I don't make them, although I admire those who do. And for years I have collected abandoned lists from other people's shopping carts, lists that often start with EGGS.) but every year I try The Process, by buying a new notebook and a pen. And coming up with titles: What I Might Do This Year. Or, Maybe.
Maybe this year I will figure out how to learn sign language maybe this year I can eliminate rather than gather though I love to gather I will be patient replacing judgement with acceptance maybe this year I will give up worrying about what I won't do become a good swimmer only one example and then there is the world and endless relentless idea all will be a little bit different maybe this year.
