at Abigail’s gorgeous pond.
We swam first time this summer
French lamb chops for dinner.
Adirondack Kulfi ice cream.)
I did not poem not for no
good reason. Today though
because it is very hot
and because we are leaving
soon for Asbury Park
and because the kids
will meet us there ( hotel
with a pool) and because
Ahava will swim all day
and I am finishing my old friend
Doug Magee’s beautiful
new book SAVED and because
I just read Elizabeth Nonas
very good book Grace Period
(she makes Negronis) and because
life in all its crazy parts
this summer especially
because today is a
very good poem.

Around here of course in Tel Aviv the weekdays start on Sunday, not Monday, so it would be "Blue Sunday".
