Preface: I love all newsletters, especially those that are
primarily personal ads, or that ask questions of the community,
Here’s an inquiry from yesterday, and a response:
Dear Neighbors,
My next door neighbor is very very snoopy. Sometimes I find her
listening in at my door, or I see her on her outside balcony
peering in. Usually she goes to Florida for 6 months (she is
elderly and alone) and then I have a reprieve, but she’s been
relentlessly snoopy for 12 months now an unfortunate side effect
of the pandemic and I am at my Wit’s End and need
advice from you. What do you think I should do?
Dear Neighbor with a Snoop.
Just invite her in. Maybe even give her
something. A cup of tea and some cookies,
for instance. Ask her what she’d like to know.
Then tell her.
If the snoopy neighbor won’t go to Florida because she’s worried about COVID, perhaps the person who wrote that she’s at her wits end can go there.
Perfect! Help our neighbors as best we can
