means rejoicing with
Torah, first five books
of the Hebrew Bible.
Each of us has a Torah.
Sometimes we know why.
Last night at happy hour
in Harvest Kitchen
with my friend Lisa we
were happily talking
stories being my own Torah
and Alfie amazing
massage therapist walked in
to join us and he said
many of his clients
are Orthodox now. Alfie
secular Jew has a new understanding
of holidays from what heβs learned
from them. By the way he said
I have three Simhat Torah
massages lined up for tonight.
Continuity in virtual shul yesterday: one rabbi read the last portion, then the next rabbi read the first portion. The choir sang Turn, Turn, Turn.
Simhat Torah massages--hmmmm: Do they wrap you up and shake you afterwards? π
