Sometimes I read pieces
I wish I wrote. Ginia B’s
is one of those: sanctimonious
eating (Peter had some issues
with what she says - not me).
I have food ideological friends
no gluten ever no dairy
no sugar especially
they’re working on their microbiome
imagine that and sometimes
I hear parents of young children
talking about what young Orlando
can eat: imagine a childhood
of carrot sticks.
We heard a comedy special
with a terrific comic new to us
Atsuko Okatsuka. She talks
about her white friends and their
crazy food things and now her
90 year old grandmother has celiac.
She’s just like
one of those white people
Atsuko says.

Class consciousness does not override common sense: eat for good health. Veggies galore, ; compassion helps. Composting too . Or is that smug ?
