I like the public
like cities too so what
is wrong with this particular word
with the idea of seeking
public cities for the work
you’re trying to do?
I have friends who give
publicity to their current projects
books movies
even grandchildren
they tell us what they’re doing
and the truth is I am
almost always interested
(although endless pictures
of anyone’s grandchildren
can be too much. A friend
told me that he asked people
to stop showing him their
grandchildren. And then, he
had a grandchild himself.)
All this an explanation for why
I am posting this example
of publicity: although I don’t like
the idea much of the word
but I am trying, this fall,
to figure out how to have people
read my new book, All of Us.
(all advice is welcome.)

I agree with Leslie—yummy interview with Mast!
This is a fascinating interview. It makes me want to run out and buy your book and read everything you have written. I wonder if you thought the interviewer was good. The end result was great. I attribute that to you both.
