today. A registered Republican

she asked if I ever

write Political Poems.

I asked what

a political poem is.

Where you tell people

who to vote for

she explained.

I’m going to vote

for Kamala she said.

If I say that

would I be writing

a political poem

I asked. No she replied.

That would just

be a poem about me.
