Yesterday I went into
the crazy store below
my apartment I like and dislike it
expensive and curated the opposite
of a flea market (what I love).
I went to meet my friend and neighbor
for hot chocolate ( delicious).
One of the workers I like
was sitting at a table. I asked
if we could write poems
in the store for poetry month.
(The store sells my books of poems. )
I’ve never written a poem she said.
She brought over small beautiful thin brown bags
to write on and we began.
Steve is a prompt that
always works. Quickly some
customers wrote poems on beautiful bags.
Even the woman who’d never written a poem
wrote her first about a Bad Steve.
We added poems to the curated store.
Maybe we’ll do it again.
PS: Here’s an interview/review of All of Us.

I have to remember the Steve prompt
