Letter from the Ivory Coast
My friend Kay asked this morning if I could write a poem to get rid of REPUBLICANS. I can't. What I will say is this. Daily life happens no matter what. People. Always people. As some readers of my blog know, I am especially enamored of the articulate email spammers from far away who send tragic tales, ending in large amounts of money (FOR ME, and FOR ALL THEIR READERS.) Here's a letter I got two days ago. If you get them, send them to me. I think they would be a terrific illustrated book (entitled Death and Money!!!). Maybe one of my favorite illustrators Sarah Jane Lappe would make them come alive. It's not he list for ONE DAY.
