Joe Biden (who knows

although absolutely no one
on this planet is perfect
in politics in particular)
we were relieved that Biden
with his beautiful smile
was believable and good.
The man many of us voted for.
Now, we will all do
what we can.

I watched the State of the Union message yesterday on You Tube. Whoever wrote it did a great job constructing it, and Biden's delivery was almost flawless. I watched Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson sitting behind him, grimacing throughout. He stood and applauded only 4 times alongside Kamala Harris, first at the mention of Selma, then the hostages, striking at the Houthis, and finally when the cancer project was mentioned. And I liked the way Biden handled the age question at the end, particularly since we're the same age!
