Article voiceover
Gary and I are doing a series
about people who love what they do.
(If you’re one let me know).
We’ve interviewed
about 20 so far:
dental hygienist, singer,
union organizer, writer.
Yesterday we visited
a famous artist. Her husband
joined us and I asked how
they met. An ad in the old
New York Observer she said.
He answered and we
went to dinner. I told him
I was going to London for work.
I’ll send you a postcard I said.
I hate postcards he replied.
I sent him two a day.
That was that.
Esther, I still love your poems, and read them as soon as I see them in my email-box. I miss ‘a-poem-a-day’ and am grateful to still be in touch even though I haven’t subscribed. Ginger Mason
