Dr. Kumar (Part 3)
The picture on his ISHWAR CENTER website of the beautiful Indian man with a big Afro waving, the man I thought was Dr. Kumar (waving to ME) is Sai Baba, a famous Guru. And although Dr. Kumar has Many Many Many pictures of Sayid Baba in his office/home, SB is even in the kitchen, Dr. Kumar was not a smiling man in an Afro, waving.
Part One, my favorite part
I love Jackson Heights walking around reading signs, especially all those signs from Indian Doctors (I should go to an Indian Doctor) explaining, tersely, what they can do. Body parts they're able to fix. I walked on 37th Street not 37th Avenue so I asked maybe fifteen people where 37th Avenue was (two blocks away) and only one knew. He brought me there.
Part Two: the words of Dr. Kumar
My process was called Buy Auspicious Time (for $100.). He gave me a CD so I didn't have to take notes but I did write down the word Jupiter three times. He said Jupiter a lot.
Part Three: what I learned
The E train is the quickest way to Jackson Heights. I was not a doctor in any of my previous lives. Seven and a half years of Saturn aren't good. We all endure them. Dr. Kumar likes the color red.
