Dion
Grenada (2)
Our hotel suggested
if I like massage
(is there anyone besides
my friend Marion who doesn’t?)
that I call a blind masseuse
named Dion for an appointment.
(The only appointment
I made.) He came to our
room, told me he went blind
at 6 years old. Then he became
a Calypso singer. Singing,
he met a doctor
from a Hawaiian medical school
who started a program to
teaching blind people massage.
Grenada has many. Dion
(I had two massages), a friend now,
said life is about karma,
and energy. “I see when
I touch,” he said. “And
I believe in people too.”

You seek the best in the best people.
I love everything about this.
Gregg says he can’t understand why people like massages. I told him he probably never had a proper one. He disagrees.
