Aging

Years ago I suggested a book

to an agent and then a publisher

called I’m Getting Older. I was

younger then. The agent and publisher

both said No. No one wants to

talk about aging, they said with

the funny authority that comes from

knowing One Thing or Two.

Now with Breena and Cheryl Clarke

I am helping gather pieces about

being CRONES. We found many writers

who don’t agree that aging is not

interesting. (Of course it is.)
