After Acupuncture

How I Feel Now

One:

Nothing is life changing even pie cookies

from Jane’s bakery, though that’s their slogan.

Started with a group of homeless women

18 weeks of back orders woman at the cash

register said, when I asked if I could buy cookies

from the case on the counter,

she said Maybe.

I did buy cookies and they were pretty good.

Two:

Second acupuncture treatment

with Dr. Ming this week

and although I still

have the Same Problems more or less,

two nights in a row I slept all night

with no Sleeping Aids

and in my dreams I finally went on vacation

to a fantastic town in Colombia

finally had a big party there

and invited every single person who reads my poems

many people actually came

and at least for one night we were all happy.
